Excel Construction Wraps Up Construction on New State-of-the-Art Class A Offices for WorkEasy Software
Designed to inspire creativity and boost productivity, the 25,300-sq.-ft. workspace is in the premiere Edison Pembroke Pines office building
Excel Construction of Florida, a leading commercial general contractor serving the southeastern U.S., has announced the completion of WorkEasy Software’s new headquarters in Phase 1 of the premier Class A Edison Pembroke Pines, located at 1200 S.W. 145 Ave. The newly unveiled 25,300-sq.-ft. office renovation is designed with an impressive, comfortable environment that integrates work and play, setting a new standard for modern office spaces in South Florida.
WorkEasy Software is a workforce management software company that provides time, scheduling, time off and HR solutions for businesses of all sizes, with the goal of making life easy through the seamless operation of its software. They accomplished that with their new office design as well. Gone are the traditional dull and uninspiring spaces of the past. Instead, Excel Construction, working closely with Steven Myott and Solutions Builder Inc., transformed an office shell into an attractive, open workspace with curved walls, exposed ceilings and playful curvilinear lighting features.
“WorkEasy’s new offices provide an inspirational and fun space that will undeniably motivate employees to produce great work,” said Excel Construction’s Vice President of Development and Construction Michael Swisa, who also oversees the company’s Class A office projects. “We’re proud of the quality of the finished space, which underscores our continuing commitment to excellence in construction.”
Emphasizing the company’s commitment to creating a balanced and enjoyable work environment, the new WorkEasy workspaces feature glass office and conference room walls, letting in natural light. The spaces are highlighted by polished concrete floors, modern carpet panels, and comfortable and contemporary furniture in bold colors to create a sleek and vibrant appeal. Other design elements include collaborative areas to encourage employee interaction and engagement, a fully equipped breakroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and a play area.
The project began in February of 2023 and was completed in July 2023, under the management and oversight of two of Excel Construction’s talented project managers, Randy Egues and Ralph Echeverria.

The WorkEasy Software offices are located in Phase I of The Edison Pembroke Pines that is quickly becoming a hub of national and international tech and software companies. Located near I-75 and the 400,000-sq.-ft. Shops at Pembroke Gardens, the mixed-use site is currently under development and will include additional offices, a residential complex and a hotel.
