The development of our newest location for Marble of the World in Pompano Beach, our eighth location, presented a series of unique challenges to the entire design/ build/ owner group.
Our vision for major showroom, administrative and warehouse facilities is complex- we combine state of the art logistics facilities with luxury showroom details and complex lighting and HVAC demands. Beyond our high expectations in the finished spaces, the project calendar spanned the entirety of the original COVID year affecting all levels of our day to day activities. The team faced a broad variety of challenges regarding the supply of equipment, delays in delivery and key role players across the country working remotely.

Excel marshaled a strong and responsive team to manage along with our own group to stay focused and responsive through every phase of the project. On site management, senior oversight and daily updates from their architectural staff by Excel kept us all " in the loop " as the project progressed. Every project of this scale has its issues, Excel's collaborative approach led to a series of mutual wins; from the interaction with building officials to the challenges of supply and the ever looming calendar deadlines. All of us involved now have a completed facility which has been exceptionally well received by our marketplace of design professionals, consumers and general contractors.
